Summary:
|
The District would like to extend the contract for the Division of State Architects (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) services for the CMI, Gym and Parking/Circulation Project to CQAG. The IOR verifies that construction of a project follows and adheres to the plans and specifications as approved by the DSA office. The duties of the IOR are defined in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-342. In addition, the IOR works with the District to mitigate the effects of construction activities and operations on a school site and to make sure all applicable safety standards are being followed. The DSA IOR services are provided through project completion and will be billed at an hourly rate of $103. The hourly rate will increase to $105 on January 2020 as per the CQAG Proposal. The estimated project cost is $375,384.
