Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District requests authorization to utilize the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance cooperative purchasing contract and the California Multiple Award Schedule #3-15-70-2486E as Awarded to SigmaNet for the purchase of covered items and services. Specifically the purchase of 82” LCD displays and mobile stands as replacements for ageing projectors in various classrooms from Converge One.
The total cost for this purchase on the attached quote is $166,210.84. In addition to this purchase, there may be other purchases of LCD displays and mobile stands utilizing the piggyback pricing throughout the 2017-18 school year.
The displays and carts will be constructed and stored by Converge One for as needed delivery to the classrooms. The use of LCD panel displays in the classroom is an exciting change from projectors with many benefits:
1) Flexible arrangement within classroom
2) Simpler facilitation of small group learning
3)Flexibility to match teaching styles
4) Not affixed to any classroom, can be moved to best meet needs
