Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with GovDeals, Incorporated to provide an online auction system for the District to post and sell assets that have been declared as surplus property.
The services include maintaining and operating the online auction system, training and support services, assisting with pricing unique assets, listing strategies, auction marketing, payment collection, and providing reports on assets. Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) will have complete visibility and control over the entire auction process. PUHSD will continue to store the surplus items at our facility until an item is sold. The District will elect to utilize GovDeals Financial Settlement Services (FSS) to collect the proceeds for auctions, including a Buyer's Premium of 10% to cover GovDeals’ fee. GovDeals, Incorporated will issue checks for proceeds to the District on a weekly basis when assets have been sold and paid for. A detailed backup will be submitted to the District to support the amount remitted.
The term of this Agreement shall be from December 19, 2019 through December 18, 2022.
