THINK Together Agreement.-WREP-2020-21.pdf
Summary: The District would like to enter into an Agreement with Think Together to serve as the Workforce Readiness Facilitator for Perris Lake High School (PLHS) and Scholar+ Online Learning Academy (SOLA). Think Together will provide a comprehensive career awareness program to prepare high school students for the professional workplace through training, hands-on practice and career-oriented internships. Work-based learning opportunities include presentations from guest speakers, field trips, job shadowing, career-related mentoring, work experience training and internships. All activities will be delivered by Robert Bryant, High School Workforce Readiness Facilitator, who has expertise in career technical education and work-based learning strategies.

The term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from August 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, at a total cost of $74,520.

This item is being brought forth as a ratification due to budget uncertainties that existed as a result of the State Budget not having been signed by the Governor until June 29, 2020.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2020-21 operating budget funded through the Title 1 Fund, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Agreement for Professional Services with THINK Together, Incorporated for the Workforce Readiness and Education Program at Perris Lake High School and Scholar+ Online Learning Academy.
