Summary:

The District used formal bidding procedures for the California Military Institute (CMI) Gym and Parking/Circulation Project. The project includes sixteen (16) contractor categories. The public bid opening was held on August 28, 2019, and forty-nine (49) bids were submitted. The low bidder in Category 17 HVAC, Franklin Mechanical, was found to be non-responsive due to not acknowledging Addendum #2. Category 17 HVAC will be awarded to Los Angeles Air Conditioning.
