Summary:
|
The District would ratify a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools (RCSS) to provide classroom space for the Come Back Kids Program. The program operates at Pathways for Adult Life Skills (PALS) to assist the district with its high school age students who have dropped out of school, 5th year seniors and dropouts in the community (through age 23). The program is held Monday through Friday of each week, with the exception of holidays and District closures, with all costs being borne by the RCSS.
The term of this MOU is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020.
This MOU is being brought as a ratification due to untimely receipt from RCSS.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.
