Summary:

Ms. Chelsye DeBoor, teacher at Perris High School, has submitted a request to have four (4) Future Farmers of America (FFA) students to attend San Luis Obispo Veterinary Science Field Day. The San Luis Obispo Veterinary Science Field day will take place at San Luis Obispo High School on February 15-16, 2019.
The San Luis Obispo Veterinary Science Day event is a competitive event that prepares students with the skills that can be used in the workforce. The teams spend countless hours practicing and studying to prepare for these events. Each event also has a public speaking component which helps students become more confident in their speaking skills. Members of FFA study and practice to gain a complete and comprehensive knowledge of what it takes to succeed in a related career. The Career Development Event provides students with the opportunity to acquire skills that can be used in "real life."
Four (4) students and one (1) adult chaperone will be in attendance. Registration and hotel will be a total cost of $75 per student.
