Summary:
|
The Perris High School (PHS) and Heritage High School (HHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Officers respectfully request ratification for their Section Officer Leadership Training at Cal Poly Pomona, California, on August 5-7, 2018. The FFA Section Officers Leadership Training is a critical component of the leadership program in the FFA organization. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
One (1) agriculture teacher, Ms. Krystal Thomas, will chaperone. There will be three (3) chapter officers (students) participating (1 student from Perris High School and 2 students from Heritage High School).
Transportation will be provided by the teachers driving a District vehicle.
The reason that this item is coming up for ratification is due to the site account clerk discovering that he had misplaced the field trip request that Mr. Cousin's submitted for the June 2018 agenda after the fact.
