Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District and Brandman University are interested in entering into a Multi-Year Internship Contract Agreement, Supervised Internship Agreement, and Supervised Fieldwork Agreement.
Interns must have a contract before a credential can be issued. The internship program gives the intern candidate the opportunity to work under the direct and continuing supervision of a Brandman University Supervisor from the Menifee Campus and District Mentor who provides general support at the classroom level of the cooperating school.
The fieldwork shall provide students with active participation in the duties and functions of the classroom under the direct supervision and instruction of employees of the fieldwork site who hold valid teaching credentials.
The supervised internship program will provide an average of one (1) hour of individual or one-and-one-half (1.5) hours of small group supervision per week from an experienced school counselor with at least two (2) years of professional experience.
The term of these Agreements shall be for three (3) years from September 19, 2019 through September 19, 2022.
