Summary:
|
The District has been participating in the Google Education Think Tank as one of 20 total schools and universities. The Think Tank partners have met twice a year since 2014, alternating between the east and west coasts. The upcoming meeting on October 22-23, 2018 will be held in New York, with the March 2019 meeting being held in California.
The Google Think Tank will continue to provide a collaborative forum for school districts to share and learn from their experiences with integrating technology into the classroom, operations and overall culture of the District. The goal for the Think Tank Program is to inspire innovative approaches to education, to disseminate insights on learning models, and to determine how Google technology can best support schools and universities.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through Title I, not the General Fund.
