Summary:

The Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) contracts annually with the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) in order to assure network connectivity and provide Internet access and bandwidth to the Corporation for Educational Network Initiatives in California (CENIC) K12-High Speed Network for the District. RCOE’s responsibilities for the 2019-20 school year under this Agreement include: -Equipment -Connection to CalREN-DC hub -Access to RCOE’s equipment location -Node site contacts -Technical support -Notifications -Communications -Requests from DHS, DOJ, and other Federal and/or State Agencies for monitoring and/or equipment access -E-Rate compliance audits of equipment and/or circuits -Network management services -Standard Galaxy support -Report processing and distribution -Standard RCOE training support -Standard retirement reporting and support The cost for Internet services is $1.50 per student enrollment and the cost for network management is $.85 per student. Student enrollment charges for the 2019-20 school year is based upon 2018-19 CALPADS. Total costs are broken down as follows: -The PUHSD cost is 9,844 x $2.35 = $23,133.40 -The California Military Institute (CMI) cost is 1,049 x $2.35 = $2,465.15. CMI’s cost will be billed as a direct cost to CMI per the Memorandum of Understanding between the PUHSD and CMI. Systems Support Services (Galaxy) cost is $5.65 x 9844, plus $480 for retirement reporting. -Total cost for PUHSD is $56,098.60. -The California Military Institute (CMI) cost is $5.65 x 1049 for a total cost of $5,926.85. This contract is being brought forward as a ratification due to the untimely receipt from the Riverside County Office of Education.
