Summary: The K-12 Innovation Forum in partnership with the RTM K-12 National Advisory Board, is a private forum that is a premier gathering for senior cabinet members and district administrators from across the country with the goal of encouraging innovation in teaching and learning and maximizing current technologies and funding to advance student achievement. This “Think Tank” forum is an invitation-only, exclusive opportunity for district leaders who are committed to advancing digital learning. The RTM K-12 Innovation Forum tri-locates Curriculum, Technology, and Facilities/School Planning. Perris Union High School District is in a unique position to contribute to the conversation as Curriculum, Technology, and Facilities in the district regularly collaborate to ensure that the needs of instructional programs are met.

Candace Reines, Joseph Williams and Hector Gonzalez have been asked to present at the K-12 Innovation Forum this year. The RTM Business Group covers all costs other than the cost of the flights expected to be under $550. Ms. Reines was asked to speak on strategies to gain community support for passing bond measures, particularly given our recent success with Measure W. Mr. Williams is presenting the blueprint tentatively named “The Seamless Integration of Curriculum and Technology.” Mr. Williams is one of the four primary writers for this blueprint. Mr. Williams also sits on the RTM K-12 National Advisory Board. Mr. Gonzalez was asked to host a roundtable to share his knowledge on the various energy savings projects that have been completed in Perris Union High School District.
