Summary:
|
The District would like to extend the contract for the Division of State Architects (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) services for the Paloma Valley High School Classroom Addition and Stadium Improvement Project to Inland Inspections and Consulting. The IOR verifies that construction of a project follows and adheres to the plans and specifications as approved by the DSA office. The duties of the IOR are defined in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-342. In addition, the IOR works with the District to mitigate the effects of construction activities and operations on a school site and to make sure all applicable safety standards are being followed. The DSA IOR services are provided through project completion and will be billed at an hourly rate of $88 with an estimated project cost of $140,800.
Education Codes 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
