Summary:
|
This Memorandum of Agreement with the County of Riverside for the Youth Accountability Team (YAT) will provide a multi-agency system of swift and fair responses for at-risk youth and their families. The YAT Team will work with at-risk youth in a combined effort to reduce incidents of truancy, delinquent behavior in the community and on school campuses. Additionally, the YAT Program is designed to reduce the number of youth in custody or involved in substance abuse by providing early intervention and support for at-risk youth in the Perris Union High School District.
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 at no cost to the District.
This Memorandum of Understanding is being taken to the Board as a ratification due to the untimely receipt of the contract from the County of Riverside.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
