Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an agreement to participate in the Friday Night Live (FNL) Prevention Club Program with the County of Riverside Department of Mental Health. The FNL Prevention Club Program was developed in 1984 and is dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries caused by teen motorists driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. The agreement provides one adult advisor per school site to oversee the FNL Program.
The program will reimburse 75 percent of the fees for the advisor, not to exceed $750 per club, per school site with a total not to exceed $5,250 for services rendered. The remaining 25 percent of the advisor’s cost, not to exceed $250 per club, will be paid by the District. The cost for California Military Institute will be billed as a direct cost to CMI per the Memorandum of Understanding between the District and CMI.
The term of the Agreement will be for one year from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.
This Agreement is being taken to the Board as a ratification due to the untimely receipt of the contract from the County of Riverside Department of Mental Health.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
