Summary
:
The District's Educational Services Department has made recommendations for updates in our district-wide course catalog. When a course is discovered to be outdated or lack sufficient information, then a request is sent to the teacher(s) to update the course. Advanced Placement 2D Art and Design and Advanced Placement 3D Art and Design were updated to meet the College Board's latest requirements.
Advanced Placement 2D Art and Design and Advanced Placement 3D Art and Design are rigorous college level courses that are designed for those who wish to earn college credit in Art. Students will create a portfolio throughout the year containing works guided by a sustained investigation to be submitted online and by mail and will be graded by the College Board. Each course utilizes different methods of tools to achieve their designs.
The Advanced Placement 2D Art and Design course and Advanced Placement 3D Art and Design course have been approved by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
