Summary: The Perris Union High School District has entered into an Agreement for tutoring services with Professional Tutors of America for the 2019-20 school year. These services are used to provide a student agreed upon compensatory educational services via a settlement Agreement. These services include tutoring in the student’s home.

The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 at a total cost not to exceed $11,031.25.

This Agreement is being taken to the Board as a ratification due to the term of the Agreement as agreed upon by all parties was to initiate this service during extended school year for the 2018-19 school year.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Special Education, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Agreement for with Professional Tutors of America for tutoring services.
