Summary:
|
The District and Frontline Education wish to enter into an Agreement for Time and Attendance Software and Services. Frontline Education’s VeriTime software is a web-based time and attendance system for K-12 that is integrated with Aesop. The District currently utilizes the Aesop system for substitute placement and absence management for our staff. VeriTime is designed to eliminate errors from manual data entry and help save significant hours every pay period spent on handling paper time sheets.
The initial term for this Agreement will be from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 at a cost of $26,170 per year. There is also a one-time implementation fee of $10,000. After the initial term, the Agreement may be renewed annually upon mutual consent expressed in writing by the District and Frontline Education for up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms in accordance with Education Code 17596.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through the General Fund.
