Summary: The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) will be hosting the 2019 Track and Field State Championships on May 23-26, 2019 at Buchanan High School in Clovis, California.

David Sibley, California Military Institute Track Coach, is requesting Board approval for the two (2) CMI Track and Field athletes to attend the CIF 2019 Track and Field State Championships, departing on May 23, 2019 and returning on May 26, 2019.

The California Military Institute (CMI) has two (2) track and field athletes who will participate in this prestigious event and will be accompanied by two (2) chaperones. The student athletes will be transported via a district vehicle.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through the California Military Institute's general fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the overnight field trip request for two California Military Institute Track and Field Athletes to attend the 2019 CIF Track and Field State Championships, in Clovis, California, May 23-26, 2019.
