Summary:
|
Jane Scibilia, Associated Student Body (ASB) Advisor at California Military Institute (CMI), has submitted an overnight field trip request for CMI's Student Council Members to attend the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) State Conference in Ontario, California, March 28-30, 2020. This is in conjunction with the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA) conference for the Advisors of Associated Student Body clubs.
This field trip will included eighteen (18) students accompanied by four (4) chaperones. The total cost not to exceed $8,750. Transportation will be provided via two District vans.

The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the California Military Institute Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the overnight field trip request for California Military Institute students to attend the California Association of Student Leaders Annual Conference in Ontario, California, March 28-30, 2020.
