Intro to Digital Media COS.pdf
Summary: A new Career Technical Education (CTE) course titled “Introduction to Digital Media” is being submitted. This is a year-long CTE course that explores digital media in design and communication. Students will create and combine images, text, animation, and video to produce digital media projects designed to inform, educate or entertain.

Introduction to Digital Media is articulated with the equivalent Mt. San Jacinto College course, also named Introduction to Digital Media/DIG 110. The creation and articulation of this course is necessary in order to continue the current articulation of our Video Production course. The new course is a prerequisite to the video production course. Because Introduction to Digital Media is a college course, it does not need to be designated as an A-G course.

The primary textbook that will be used for Introduction to Digital Media: ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CC CLASSROOM IN A BOOK; Adobe Press Publishing; Author: Andrew Faulkner; copyright 2017; ISBN: 0134663454.

Introduction to Digital Media has been approved by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
