Summary:
|
On August 16, 2017, the District entered into an Agreement with Trane for services in support of the Trane Energy Management System (EMS) which was installed at Perris High School as part of Phase 2 of the Perris High School Transformation Plan. The term for the initial Agreement was September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018, with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms. The Maintenance Department would like to renew the Agreement for these services for 2018-2019 and has received a renewal proposal from Trane. The renewal adds an additional building, the Perris Agricultural Center of Excellence (PACE) building and the effective dates are adjusted to October 17, 2018 through October 16, 2019 since the renewal was not received timely. The Trane Building Advantage Program includes support for installed building automation software, remote support, monthly system diagnostics, quarterly maintenance of the EMS system, as well as annual training for the District Heat, Air Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) staff. The cost for these services will be $22,737.66.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.
