Summary:
|
The District would like to retain the services of Clover Enterprises, Incorporated for a one-year renewal term from August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019. The Board approved the initial year of the contract at the Board Meeting on June 17, 2015.
Clover Enterprises, Incorporated has successfully been providing athletic training/first responder services to Perris High School (PHS), Paloma Valley High School (PVHS), Heritage High School (HHS), and Pinacate Middle School (PMS).
The District agrees to make payment for the aforementioned professional services at PHS, PVHS, and HHS in the amount of $43,560 for the Athletic Trainer at each of these sites.
The District agrees to make payment for the aforementioned professional services at PMS in the amount of $13,860 for the Athletic Trainer.
The initial term of the original Agreement was from August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016. The Agreement included up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms in accordance with Education Code 17596. This term from July 31, 2017 to July 27, 2018 will be the third of the (4) additional one (1) year terms.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through the General Fund.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Amendment No. 3 for the Agreement for Professional Services with Clover Enterprises Incorporated for athletic trainer/first responder services at Perris High School, Paloma Valley High School, Heritage High School, and Pinacate Middle School.
