Summary:

The District's Educational Services Department periodically makes recommendations for updates in our districtwide course catalog. In this case, the course was previously not meeting the standards for the UC System. At this time we are submitting the revised course: Agricultural Mechanics.
Maggie Maratsos, Agriculture Teacher at Heritage High School, has submitted a revision to the Agricultural Mechanics course to meet the UC/CSU requirements. The course was currently only offered to PUHSD students as an Agricultural electives course. With the latest updates, the course will now fulfill the requirements to be a UC - G elective course.
The revised course, Agricultural Mechanics, has been approved by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
