Summary
:
The District and Reach Out currently have an Agreement in place to provide a Comprehensive Career Awareness Program. Addendum No. 1 will add language to encompass all industry sectors (not just health entities) as set forth in the original Agreement.
Funding
:
The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant, not the General Fund.
Recommendation
:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Addendum No. 1 to Agreement with Reach Out to provide a Comprehensive Career Awareness Program to prepare high school students for the professional workplace.
