Summary:

The District is recommending a restructuring of administrative positions as follows:
In September of 2015 the district restructured the classification of directors on the salary schedule into one of four categories. At that time the position of Director of Pupil Services was categorized as a Director II position. The District has determined that it is necessary to change the position from Director II to Director I in order to maintain parity with surrounding districts. This approval is being brought to the board as a ratification.
Revised job description for Principal - Charter: In 2010 the board approved a salary placement change for the Principal - Charter position from Schedule 251 Column 3 to Schedule 251 Column 1 via the Certificated Personnel Action Items. However, the job description was never amended to reflect those changes and submitted to the Board for approval. Additionally, as the job description had not been updated since 2005 there were other minor updates made to bring the description to current standards. This approval is being brought to the Board as a ratification.
The existing job descriptions and administrative salary schedule will be updated to reflect the change in salary placement.
