Summary:
|
The District has entered into an Agreement for Professional Services with Advanced Medical Personnel Services for the 2018-19 school year. These services will be used to provide physical therapy services including assessment, report writing, Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) services, compensatory services and attendance at IEP meetings. These services would be provided to District students who require physical therapy services, triennial assessments, additional assessments and/or initial assessments according to their IEP.
The term of this Agreement shall be from January 14, 2019 to June 30, 2019 at a total cost not-to-exceed $26,000.
This Agreement is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to the limited availability of a Physical Therapist in our area and the immediate need for services.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through Special Education, Fund 06.
