Summary:

Alison King and Kari Getchel, Teachers at Paloma Valley High School, are requesting that the Board of Trustees approve their attendance at the Jostens Renaissance National Conference, to be held in Orlando, Florida, July 20-23, 2019.
The Jostens Renaissance National Conference is a one-of-a-kind conference experience that brings all educational stakeholders together with the focus on creating a positive school climate and culture. The Jostens Renaissance Conference will assist teachers to inspire students to academic success while celebrating the moments that matter.
Alison King is the ASB Advisor and Kari Getchel is the AVID Coordinator for Paloma Valley High School. Ms. King and Ms. Getchel are eager to expand their knowledge and expertise by collaborating with school leaders across the country in an idea exchange.
Josten's will pay for all registration fees and hotel stay. Paloma Valley High School Discretionary Fund will pay for flights, meals, parking, transportation, etc.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Paloma Valley High School's Discretionary Fund, not the General Fund.
