Summary:
|
The Special Education Department entered into an Agreement for Speech and Language Pathology Assistant Services from January 23, 2018 through March 23, 2018 with a total amount not-to-exceed $8,960. These services are provided to District students who require these services according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
This Addendum is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to one of the District’s current Speech and Language Pathologist being out on medical leave.
The recommendation is to extend the Agreement for one week through March 30, 2018. This would be an increase of $1,400 (at the rate of $56 per hour for 25 hours) for a total of $10,360.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.
