Summary:
|
On June 30, 2018 the District issued a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for contractors for the Perris High School improvements project (“Project”). The District received five responses, reviewed them based on criteria set forth in the RFP, and determined that Neff Construction Incorporated (“Contractor”) proposal provides the best value for the District. This resolution approves the selection of Contractor as the lease leaseback contractor for the Project, authorizes the District to negotiate contract documents with the Contractor, which will be brought to the Board for consideration and approval at a later date, and enables Contractor to begin providing pre-construction services for the Project.

Funding:
|
There is no cost to this item until a contract is brought before the Board of Trustees for approval. The eventual cost will be based on a percentage of construction costs, initially based on estimated construction costs and ultimately adjusted to actual construction costs.

Recommendation:
|
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 02:18-19 of the Perris Union High School District identifying Neff Construction, Incorprated as the contractor to be utilized for the Perris High School Completion Phase Project.
