Summary:
|
The District has entered into an Agreement for Professional Services with Advanced Medical Personnel Services for the 2019-20 school year. These services will be used to provide physical therapy services including assessment, report writing, Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) services, compensatory services and attendance at IEP meetings. These services would be provided to District students who require physical therapy services, triennial assessments, additional assessments and/or initial assessments according to their IEP.
The term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from September 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 at a total cost not to exceed $26,000.00.
This Agreement is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to the limited availability of a Physical Therapist in our area and the immediate need for services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Special Education, not the General Fund.
