Summary:
|
Jane Scibilia, Associated Student Body (ASB) Advisor at California Military Institute (CMI), has submitted an overnight field trip request for CMI's Student Council Members to attend the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) State Conference in Santa Clara, California, April 5-8, 2019. This is in conjunction with the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA) conference for the Advisors of Associated Student Body clubs.
This field trip was previously approved on February 20, 2019 by the Board of Trustees and included eight (8) students accompanied by four (4) chaperones. An additional student has been added to the overnight field trip request, which now totals nine (9) students and four (4) chaperones. The overall estimated cost for this trip is $7,197.43. Transportation will be provided via two District vans.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through the California Military Institute Local Control Accountability Plan, not the General Fund.
