Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District Facilities Department has retained PJHM Architects to provide professional services for the Heritage High School Flooring Project. The Heritage Flooring Project involves the removal of all carpet and VCT tile flooring, the addition of a vapor barrier, and the replacement of all removed flooring throughout the entire campus at Heritage High School, with the exception of all second floor areas and non-carpet/VCT locations. PJHM’s services include the preparation of project documents, bid and construction administration services as required by the project.
These services will be provided at a fixed fee of $125,000.
The ratification of the Architectural Services Agreement with PJHM Architects is necessary in order to meet critical project timelines and negate undue delay of the project. Ratification of this Agreement is permitted for Board approved facilities projects pursuant to Purchasing Policy.
Education Codes 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

Funding:

The cost for this item will be included in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 operating budgets funded through Routine Restricted Maintenance funds, not the General Fund.
