Summary: At the November 13, 2019 Special Board Meeting, the Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) Board of Trustees approved necessary priority Facilities projects. Among these projects is the addition of a second shade structure at Pinacate Middle School. Staff requested a proposal from PJHM Architects to develop the plans, specifications, and footing design for a custom 30’x 54’ shade structure that will be submitted to DSA for approval. The services from PJHM will be provided at a total cost not to exceed $25,000.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Various Facilities Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Proposal for Architectural Services with PJHM Architects, Incorporated for the Pinacate Middle School Shade Structure Project.
