Summary:
|
In accordance with Education Code Sections 42126 and 42127, the Board will hold a Public Hearing regarding adopting the California Military Institute (CMI) budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments from the public and/or interested parties regarding the proposed CMI budget prior to budget adoption on June 21, 2017.
A proposed budget and multi-year projection for the Charter School is attached. The proposed budget in the state required form (Standardized Account Code Structure (SACS) documents) are available for public review in hard copy at the District Administration Center.
Prior to opening the Public Hearing, the Board, the public, and all other interested parties will hear a report from Candace Reines, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and Christopher Rabing, Director of Fiscal Services. This report will provide factors used in developing the budget, the current financial condition of CMI, multi-year financial projections, and other relevant factors.
