Summary:
|
Education Code Sections 3503(g), 42130 and 42131 require the Board of Trustees to certify at least twice a year the District’s ability to meet its financial obligations for the current and two subsequent fiscal years. This certification is done through the interim reporting process. Interim Reports are a mechanism to evaluate ongoing State and/or District budget issues, as well as to make adjustments to the operating budget to reflect actual activity. The reports are reviewed by the County Office of Education and the State Department of Education in accordance with the State adopted Criteria and Standards, which are contained within the Interim Report.
The 2018-19 First Interim Report is for the period ending October 31, 2018, and is being presented to the Board for action.
Alisha Fogerty, Director of Fiscal Services, will give a presentation to the Board of Trustees regarding the 2018-19 First Interim Report.
