Summary:
|
The District requested proposals for geotechnical, material testing, and special inspection services for the Paloma Valley High School Classroom Addition and Stadium Improvement Project. The District would like to extend the contract for geotechnical, materials testing and special inspection services to Leighton Consulting. Title 24, Part 1, Section 4-335 requires that tests of geotechnical conditions, and materials for construction projects under the jurisdiction of the Division of State Architects (DSA) be performed by testing facilities acceptable to the DSA. The services are being provided at an estimated project cost of $82,666.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment, and services.
