Summary:
|
On August 21, 2019, the Board approved the Grant Program Services Agreement between the District and Think Together, Incorporated to provide a before and after-school program for Perris High School and Heritage High School students through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Safety and Education for Teens (CCLC ASSETs) Grant.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) shall be paid in conjunction with the District’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Grant at Perris High School to facilitate transportation to educational field trips as a part of the comprehensive After School Safety and Education for Teens (ASSETs) program at Perris High School.
Think Together, Incorporated will be paid a prorated amount of 80 percent of the Grant Award from the California Department of Education equal to $20,000.
The term of this MOU shall be from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024 subject to the District’s receipt of the 21st CCLC ASSETs Grant Award.
This MOU is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to the untimely receipt of the MOU from the vendor.

The cost of this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Safety and Education for Teens Equitable Access Grant, not the General Fund.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Memorandum of Understanding with Think Together, Incorporated to provide Equitable Access Services in conjunction with the District’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Grant at Perris High School.
