Summary:
|
In order to manage and secure the laptops and other devices, the District recommends the purchase of JAMF Mobile Device Management (MDM). JAMF will provide self-service tools to install software, apps, printers and configuration settings to the devices. JAMF software will also allow District administration to remotely disable and erase data from devices on the system that have been lost or stolen, in order to ensure confidentiality and privacy of district data when devices are no longer in staff control.
The District has negotiated with JAMF for 3-year term pricing beginning October 1, 2018 though September 30, 2021. The cost per year for the JAMF MDM is $37,600 per year for a total of $112,800 over the duration of the contract.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through the General Fund, Fund 03.
