Summary:

Riverside County Office of Education/Career Technical Education (CTE) course titled "CTE Construction Technology I" is being submitted as the new course name for "744 CTE Construction". This is a year-long CTE course that meets A-G requirements.
This course is an overview of the Building and Construction Trades Industry that is competency-based designed to provide students with technical instruction and practical experience in basic residential and commercial construction through classroom instruction and applied practice of field skills.
This is a pre-approved course revision by the Riverside County Office of Education, it does not require a second reading.
"CTE Construction Technology I" has been approved by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
