Summary: One of the priorities of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is that all departments will provide a safe and positive environment for all students and staff. The technology updates being conducted at CMI will cover high-priority locations with IP paging and speaker equipment so that announcements and bells can be heard.

This purchase is for seven (7) outdoor paging speakers and thirteen (13) indoor paging speakers.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the purchase of IP Paging and Speaker Equipment from AMS.NET, Incorporated in connection with technology updates being conducted at California Military Institute.
