Summary:
|
On August 15, 2018, the District's Board of Trustees approved the selection of Neff Construction, Incorporated (Neff) as the Lease Leaseback (LLB) contractor for the Perris High School Completion Phase Project (“Project”). Since Board approval, the District and Neff have developed the Site Lease and Facilities Lease Documents which include pre-construction services for the Project. This Agreement includes a not-to-exceed amount for pre-construction services, which is calculated at one half of one percent (.05 percent) of the estimated total project cost of $59,855,474.25. Pre-construction services are not to exceed $299,277.
After pre-construction services begin, Neff will use information from the pre-construction services and bids from each trade to develop a guaranteed maximum price. An addendum to Neff's contract will then be brought back to the Board for consideration, setting the final guaranteed maximum price for the Project, which will be justified based on objectively verifiable information obtained from Neff.
