Joseph Williams has been asked to participate in the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Federal Legislative Advocacy Days in Washington, DC, September 15 - 17, 2019. Mr. Williams is the Vice President of Legislative Action for ACSA Region 19 and as such is provided a platform to advocate on behalf of schools on topics that impact Perris Union High School District. Mr. Williams will be able to meet with our region’s congressional representatives’ office in the House of Representatives and the Senate. He will also be able to network, engage, and hear from nationally recognized education experts as part of advocating for the students and communities we serve.
The reason this item is going for ratification is that the invite to take part did not arrive to meet the deadline of the August school board meeting.
