Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District and the University of Redlands wish to enter into a Multi-Year (supervised) Educational Fieldwork Agreement.
The University will reimburse the District at a rate of $100 per full-time student teacher or counseling fieldwork candidate per seven week period. The University will reimburse the District at a rate of $200 per communicative disorders fieldwork intern per seven week period.
The term for this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019.
Pursuant to California Education Code 44320(b) a school district governing board is authorized to enter into an agreement with a state university or any university or college accredited by the State Board of Education as a teacher education institution, in order to provide teaching experience through student teaching to students enrolled in teacher training curricula.

The budget will be adjusted to reflect this revenue.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Multi-Year Educational Fieldwork Agreement with the University of Redlands.
