Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with SoCal AAC Therapy for the 2018-19 school year. These services would be used to provide augmentative communication/assistive technology evaluations, services, consultation and training. These services would be provided to District students who require speech augmentative communication/assistive technology evaluations, services, consultation and training according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
The term of this Agreement shall be from August 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 at a total cost not-to-exceed $24,500.
This Agreement is being brought to the Board as a ratification due to the immediate need for services to meet IEP’s.
Education Code 17604 and 17605: The Governing Board delegates the power to contract and purchase supplies, equipment and services.

The cost for this item is included in the 2018-19 operating budget funded through Special Education, Fund 06.
