Summary:
|
The Maintenance Department requests Board authorization to utilize the piggybackable Wiseburn School District Contract #1 as awarded to the KYA Group for the removal and replacement of all flooring for the PALS flooring project.
The total price for the project is $68,338.
Secondly, the contract represents a 42 million dollar bid and the District can piggyback off the discounts and services that are offered within the state contract agreement.
The contract includes: floor covering material, application of new material, removal and disposal of existing goods, ancillary trim pieces and other items. The contract includes a 30 year material warranty and a 10 year workmanship or latent defect warranty. The Wiseburn Unified School District Bid Package #1 Agreement may be used for future routine, deferred, and emergency projects.
