Summary:
|
Katie Bradley, Paloma Valley High School (PVHS) Boys' Varsity Volleyball Coach, has submitted a request to have 13 members of the varsity volleyball team participate in two tournaments in March and April 2018.
The first tournament will be at Foothill High School, in Santa Ana, on March 16-17, 2018; and, the second tournament at Scripps Ranch High School, in San Diego, on April 27-28, 2018.
These tournaments will offer the team the opportunity to play against elite varsity level competition and provide increased exposure for players who intend on playing college volleyball. This will also give the players an opportunity to spend some quality time with their teammates.
The 14 players and two (2) chaperones will be attending each tournament. The cost to attend each of the volleyball tournaments is $400 per team. All expenses will be paid for by the ASB. Transportation will be provided by District vehicles.

The cost for this item is included in the 2017-18 operating budget funded through the PVHS Associated Student Body fund.

|
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the overnight field trip request for Paloma Valley High School Boys’ Varsity Volleyball team to attend tournaments at Foothill High School, in Santa Ana, March 16-17, 2018; and at Scripps Ranch High School, in San Diego, April 27-28, 2018.
