Summary:
|
Heritage High School’s Agriculture teacher Stephen Daly, has submitted an overnight field trip request for Heritage High School's Future Farmers of America (FFA) students to attend the Annual State Finals and Field Day at Fresno State University, in Fresno, California, April 18-19, 2020.
The purpose of the trip is for the students to build interpersonal communication skills, develop leadership capabilities, and be enlightened of the opportunities offered in agriculture education.
This is an overnight field trip with seven (7) students, and two (2) adult chaperones. Transportation will be provided via District vehicles. All expenses will be paid from the Agricultural Incentive Grant.

The cost for this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through Heritage High School's Agricultural Incentive Grant, not the General Fund.

|
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the overnight field trip request for Heritage High School's Future Farmers of America students to attend the Annual State Finals and Field Day at Fresno State University in Fresno, California, April 17-18, 2020.
