Summary:
|
The Maintenance and Operations Department requests ratification of the Maintenance Agreement with KONE Incorporated for elevator and wheelchair lift maintenance at various school sites district-wide for the 2019-20 school year. This Agreement has been negotiated with KONE Incorporated in accordance with Public Contract Code section 22032(a).
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. The cost for service is $32,100.00 payable in twelve (12) monthly installments of $2,675.00.
This Agreement is being ratified due to it not being approved by legal counsel prior to the June 19, 2019 Board meeting.

The cost of this item is included in the 2019-20 operating budget funded through the Maintenance Fund, not the General Fund.
