Education law never ceases to change and grow which necessitates that school districts update policies and regulations as well as add/delete/change policies and regulations to meet the mandates of the law. The reasons for their inclusion in the district policy manual are summarized in the attached justification document. |

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees receive for review and consideration, as part of the first reading: BP/AR 5022 - Student and Family Privacy Rights; BP 5144 - Discipline; BP/AR 5144.1 - Suspension and Expulsion/Due Process; BP/E 5145.6 - Parental Notifications; and, AR 5148.2 - Before/After School Programs. |
